I eat generic bran flakes from winn dixie. It’s not as good for you as the flax seed cereals; it’s still better than the sugary cereals.it’s cheaper, too.

Some kind of ginger granola from Trader Joe’s as well as a cranberry granola mix, also from TJ’s. No cereal in the house now and not a big cereal eater, sorry.

Should buy it whole seed and grind just before eating as it starts to go rancid in 15 minutes. As a laxative it does not matter but for nutrition you need to eat it FRESHLY GROUND.

Ethiopians have a great way of using flax seeds. I know two of them:
1- As a drink by putting 1-2 table spoons of a little roasted then ground flaxseeds in a cup and add hot water to it, stir it, then wait 2 minuites, stir and drink. you can add honey or sugar if you like. (very filling and tasty, quick breakfast)
2- As a salad dressing or dipping sauce, by dissolving the little roasted then ground falxseeds in water, wait 2 minutes, add salt, onions and tomatos then blend .
